Throughout the year, members and friends of Saint John gather to enjoy each other’s company.
Sometimes they are church-related, such as our coffee hour held between
the end of the 8:15 AM service and beginning of Sunday School each week
(when we’re observing our “regular” schedule).
Or our TWO annual church picnics...
one at the church Cemetery following the Memorial Day service;
the other our annual fall picnic in September at a local park.
Other times, they are family-oriented. We may arrange for group tickets to see
a performance at the Pittsburgh CLO Cabaret or another theater in downtown Pittsburgh.
We may organize a tailgate party before a sporting event.
In February of each year, we attempt to organize a “couples event”
known around here as the “Sweetheart Dinner.”
In any event, the events are always lots of fun.
